Countdown Creator is a very easy-to-use countdown maker, with a very basic user interface. It just recently emerged in the past month and it has been a hot topic as far as presentation software and the programs associated with it. Even though it has no obvious relativity to churches, it has become very popular because of the large number of churches who use countdowns to make sure the service starts on time, because we all know Christians are terrible with time management. Lol

The features the program includes are the obvious controls one needs to efficiently carry out a good looking countdown.

- Rotation

- Time length of countdown

- Clock font, color, and shadow

- Sounds

- Video and Images

- Export type (.mov, .wmv, .mpeg)

- Loop

However, for someone like me, this program doesn’t give me enough to get creative. I mean, what if I wanted dual clocks? One in the background and one on the foreground. Or, why can’t I make text transparent? Now, don’t get me wrong CC carries out exactly what it promises, but I can’t help but think its future is dark. I mean, someone could come out with a program such as this tomorrow with more features and CC would be out of the picture.
